The yellow house on California St. A one bedroom that my father, brother and I had shared on and off from the time I was 3 till the time I was 10. There used to be a palm tree that I would climb and the roof used to be flat. I would climb up and sun bathe, listening to the radio. My mother's apartment complex ten minutes from here was torn down several years ago before I had the chance to photograph it.
